Practical Nursing Program

There is a shortage of nurses in the country and the world. AMA Practical Nursing program will assist in providing more Licensed Practical Nurses in the South Florida and Miami area. The shortage is projected to intensify over the next two decades having a nursing shortage through the years. For the first time, the U.S. Department of Labor identified nursing as the top occupation in terms of job growth.

The primary commitment of the practical nursing program is the education and preparation of safe, compassionate, caring practitioners, with the welfare of the patient being of the utmost importance. We believe in a strong commitment to nursing; introducing the students to a wide range of knowledge in the medical field.

American Medical Academy Practical Nursing's purpose is to provide an educational program of practical nursing in which the student will receive the necessary preparation on classroom studies, practices in lab settings education, clinical experience and a high level of hands-on tutorials to become prepared to take the NCLEX PN exam in the State of Florida for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
